Solen står høyt og varmer kl. 21 på den siste dagen i mai, og jeg lar sjelen varmeste av en lekkerbisken fra gutan i Bodø: nesten helt svart med ok skum. Duft og smak av mørke dessertchokolader, Kittys hjemmelagede kransekake, kokos og vanilje. Bjørnebær (og dessverre noe parfymeaktig) avslutningen. Et overflødighetshorn av fristelser. 0, 33 boksen var fra det statlige velværesenteret rett sør for bygrensa.

Nice light brown fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is sweet sour-ish mineraly, dark sugar, almond essence, dark malts, soil, toast, vanilla essence, chocolate, bark, hay, grass, caramel. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, almond essence, weeds, bark, sour-ish roasted grain, vanilla essence, soil, dark sugar, dark malts, fruit stones, burnt toast. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. Meh!

Can at the brewery. The colour is dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of cocoa, brownies, vinegums, marzipan and macarons actually. The flavour has more chocolate, vinegums, cocoa, oak, leather and liqueur. Silky mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. Lots of chocolate in this. Complicated flavour, interesting but a little unbalanced.

Svart. Mokkafarget filmskum. Kakaoaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken mest lakris. Sjokolade etter hvert. Portvinsaktig avslutning. Innholdsrik.

Can at No3, Mo i Rana. Pitch black body with a small, fast disappearing beige head. Pleasant aroma of dark malt, chocolate, hint of vanilla and lactose. Flavor is super smooth dark malt, lots of good dark chocolate and hint of vanilla and milk chocolate. Fine balanced body and long lasting aftertaste. A really nice pastry stout that still tastes like a beer, very nice.

400ml on tap at Hundholmen. Dotted spots on the glass from a patchy beige head. Jet black body. Promising smell of dark chocolate malts, mid-sweet vanilla scent. Well blended taste profile of liquorice, chocolate, dough, and soft brown cheese. Smoothly mid-sweet chocolate finish. Fine depth. Enjoying on a Saturday afternoon. (Bodø 05.10.2019).
