Canned (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Black colour, small white head. Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice, alcohol, some chocolate and mild toffee. Flavour is toffee, nutty, some liquorice, big time chocolate and some mild fudgelike notes.

Black with a brown head - Dark malt and chocoalte aroma - Dark malt body with a chocolate flavour and some bitterness from roasted malt - The dark malt and chocoalte flavours goes into the finish with some bitterness - This was good

Can. A black beer topped by a small brown head. Roasted malts, a touch of burnt malts, some dark dried fruits and treacle in the aroma. It's full to medium bodied, sweet and lightly carbonated, with a bit much burnt malts in the flavor I think. Else it's roasted malts, treacle and dark dried fruits, prune mostly. Lasting finish. Sure a dark one, but a bit unbalanced due to the levels of sweetness and burnt malts. 200613

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Black colour, low tan head. Roast malts and nuts in aroma and flavour. Nice beer.

Endelig, etter en surrealistisk koronatørke er vi igjen samlet i trygge omgivelser på Mi2, og vi er klare for kveldens fjerde fatøl: nesten helt svart med ok skum. Lakridschokolader, nytrukket kaffe, chokoladekage med brombær. Hint af mynte i afslutningen. Kan tatovere sjelen med denne. En tragedie for øl-Norge at EGO har slukket for bryggekjelene.

From the first Mi2 at Cardinal 25.05.20 after the corona closure. Ebony. Small beige head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, sour coffee and roganberries.

Can. The colour is dark brown to black with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate truffles, coffee, nougat and licorice. The flavour is similar with the addition of soy sauce and ash. Has a silky mouth feel, medium body and a medium level bitterness. Roasted and nice.

Can. Dark brown body with a small off-white head. Nice aroma of dark malt, coffee, chocolate and yeast. Taste is sweet, smooth dark malt, dry fruit, coffee and caramel. Nice body and same aftertaste as the rest. Decent, but ends a bit sweet, some more bitterness might do the trick with this one but I guess that’s not the point with all Norwegian made stout. Decent but I miss a bit depth in flavors.

Can 330ml (Vinmonopolet). Opaque colour, small beige head. Coffee, rye bready aroma. Medium-bodied. Toasted, coffeish flavour. Clean impy. Nothing special but ok.

Fiskåbanen 070120. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, yeast, cocoa, chocolate, coffee. Easy drinkable nice beer.
