Third, gravicask, at the 22nd Oxford Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Dark orange coloured body, fragile lacing, missing head. Smell of mid-sweet apricot. Blended taste profile of berries and yeasty fruitiness. Berry-fruity end, rather sweet, distant notes of alcohol. Approved. (25.10.2019).

Cask at Pigs Ear 2018 - Hackney, London. Day 3. Pours unclear ruby-gold with a creamy white head. Rich Belgian yeast, bready malts, ripe berries, some caramel. Medium bodied, a little oily, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more prominent Belgian yeast, lightly toasted bread. Not bad.

Bottle from Quenchers, Bideford. It pours hazy reddish with a thick foamy white head. The aroma is sweet, doughy, jammy fruits, Victoria Sponge cake, banana, clove, candy and spice. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, cakey malts, tart berry, jammy, warming alcohol, peppery spice, clove rock, red apple, banana, red kola and metallic twang from the carbonation. Medium+ body and high, foamy carbonation. Decent go at a Belgian style ale.
