Dark brown with brown head - Malt aroma with some chocolate aroma - Malt body that has some roasted flavours and chocolate as well as some hop bitterness to balance - Dark malt flavours goes into the finish with some alcohol heat - This was nice, but a little to much hot alcohol

Well stored bottle. Dark brown, almost black body under a dense beige head. Aroma has malt, caramel, toffee, dry fruit and alcohol. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, dark fruit and alcohol. Fine body and long lasting, aftertaste with warming alcohol. Still a bit raw, but the storage made wonders here. Lots of taste and its staring to feel more smooth.

Bottle. A clear, deep brown beer with a small tan head. Caramel, bread, toffee, roasted notes, some alcohol, hints of oxidation and some dark chocolate in the aroma. Lager yeast too. It's full-bodied, quite effervescent and warming on the palate, without too much sweetness. The flavor has lots of dark dried fruits, with toffee, caramel, bread crust and some grassy, piney hops. Dark chocolate too, in the far back, along with some raspberry-ish sourness. Lasting finish with lots of flavor. Too much alcohol and dried fruits in this one I think, but interesting. Guess they used lager yeast, not weissbier yeast here. 200601

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 11%. Very dark brown to black colour, large beige head. Sweetish aroma, notes of molasses, over-ripe fruits and berries, caramel and solvent - not good. Sweet and malty flavour, with a moderate fruity acidity, distinct notes of molasses and caramel, also stale jam. Unfresh finish. Won't buy again.

Farlig lettdrikkelig (a velvet fist), kan trygt kjøpes igjen.
