From bottle on board Fridtjofen 29.03.20. Best before 20.10.21. Hazy hay colour. Head is quickly diminishing to nothing. Oxidized aroma and taste of pale malt, caramel malt, brett and hints of spices. Some bitterness and sourness in aftertaste.

Slapp&tynn. Lite som minner om brown ale her, gitt.

Flaske. Gave fra Rune. Gylden. Lavt luftig skum som daler sakte. Nesten klar. Lett krydderaroma. Smaken nøtter & fiken. Behagelig tørr ettersmak. Bra julepreg.

Bottle. It pours an almost clear body, golden in colour, and with a small white head. The aroma is quite saison-ish, with a pleasant spice addition. Cloves, hints of cinnamon and a generic spice hint, citrus and some pale malts. Pale malts, some lightly chalky yeast, citrus and spice hints in the flavor. Some sour hints, not much sweetness detected. Medium body, dry and softly carbonated, with a light bitterness. Long dry, citrus finish with a spiced touch. Quite decent this one. 181223

12.01.2017, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Small slightly bubbly-creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is spiced, cloves, cardamom, minerals, grass, weeds, bark, pepper corn, hay, yeast, sawdust. Taste is dry spiced, weeds, masses of cloves, cardamom, bark, yeast, minerals, hay, paper, sawdust, grass, pepper corn. Medium bitterness, harsh spiced mouthfeel. I wonder if they dropped the whole box of cloves in this one...

500ml bottel, batch 55, bought at Gulating Tromsø. Bright amber in body colour, clingy lacing from a low beige head. Rather inviting spicy aroma with cinnamon to the fore. Spiced taste profile as well, including cinnamon, anise, and coriander. Backbone of caramel malts. Spiced malt-fruity ending. Medium bodied. Different and pretty alright (Tromsø 22.12.2016).

A bit to heavy clove flavor. A bit less next Christmas then we are talking.
Deep nutty color with a fine off white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Lots of Christmas spices in the flavor. Yes it was a bit to much.

500 ml bottle, batch #14, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger.ABV is 4.7%. Hop is Amarillo, spiced with cinnamon sticks, coriander seeds, cloves, star anise, bitter orange peel and kandij sugar. Copper colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of caramel and said Christmas spices, with cinnamon and cloves up front. Fairly light bodied, medium dry. Spicy flavour with way too much cloves, but not undrinkable.
