Can. Slightly foggy, pale golden body with a big, stable, creamy white head. Nice, fresh and pleasant hoppy aroma with citric fruit, some pine, wheat, pale malt and spicy yeast. Flavor is smooth with mild malt flavor, refreshing fruity hops, some kind of spiciness, hint of pine and pleasant bitterness. I like the hoppy IPA style, it’s refreshing in combination with a light but distinct malt/wheat flavor and often a bit more distinct yeast flavor than regular IPA. When someone manage to achieve all this in a 4,5% beer I’m quite impressed. I did not get much of a Christmas feeling here, but what the heck – it made me happy.

Lukter hvete, karamell og citrus. Gulbrun lett tåkete med offwhite skum. Brått bitter helt fra starten, sitrusskall, granbar og noe hvete. Middels lang.

0,33 flaske fra Åsa Landhandleri, hos Einar Synne julen -19: nesten helt klar lys gylden med ok skum. Citrus, grapefrukt, furunål og fint krydret kropp. En lys, delikat og lett forfriskning som slett ikke gir noen fornemmelse av jul. Slik sett seiler den under falskt flagg. Luke 6 i min fortsatt hemmelige julekalender, 0,33 flaske fra julemannen i Straensenteret: tidligere notater tiltredes og score er uendret.

330 ml can, from Joker Vatlandsvåg, ABV is 4.5%, 40 IBU. Pale golden colour, large to moderate white head. Fresh aroma of American hops notes of citrus,tropical fruits and pine. Thin body. The flavour is medium dry, grapefruity and piney. Medium bitter. Nothing particularly Christmassy about it, rather a decent summer refreshment.

330ml can bought at Eurospar Langnes. One-finger thick, white head over a hazy golden body. Crocheted lacing on the glass. Inviting smell of tropical fruits. Grapefruit and tropical fruity flavours, backbone of wheat. Moderate dry bitter end. Soft in the mouth. Pleasing. (Tromsø 16.12.2018).

Boks fra Eurospar Langnes. Veldig lysegul. Høyt kremaktig skum dom daler sakte. Nesten klar. God sitrusaroma. Smaken banan & sitrusfrukt. Syrlig tørr ettersmak.

Aroma is slightly dry and fresh grassy, leafs, citrus peel, moss, flowers, fresh hops, hay, light malts, light malts, lawn, hints of unripe berries and wheat. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish floral, leafs, hay, flowers, citrus peel, fresh hops, minerals, light malts, bark, paper, lawn. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly watery and harsh citrusy mouthfeel. Fair enough, refreshing.
