Canned (From Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Black colour, small beigeish brown head, which leaves good lace. Aroma is chocolate, some raisins, mild spiciness and some mild toffee. Flavour is roasted and chocolaty at first, and leaves a quite strong star anise and liquorice taste in the aftertaste. Not overwhelmingly spicy actually.

Can. Clear dark brown body with a dense beige head. Aroma has dark malt, coffee and chocolate. Taste is both sweet and a bit harsh, dark malt, chocolate, coffee and bitter finish. Not quite sure in what direction this is going, it seems to be just another one in the crossing between brown ale and stout but too sweet and harsh.

KØLF 011119. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, bread, coffee. Flavor is roasted malt, bread, coffee, smoked, cocoa, licorice. Nice beer.

Dark brown colour, medium-sized brownish head and lace. Light nose has caramel and spiceyness. Light to medium-bodied. Caramel, chocolate, toastyness, raisins,a bit of ash in the flavour. Plesant.

Shared can at annual yule beer tasting on board Fridtjofen 07.12.18 and 08.12.18. Brown. Persistent head. Moderate aroma and taste of dark malt, cigar box, coffee, liquorice, chocolate, caramel and biscuits. Medium dry.

dark amber with off white head - Malt aroma with some roasted and smoke aroma - Malt body with some hints of roasted smoked malt with some bitterness - The malt goes into the finish with some smoke notes and some bitterness - This was nice

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 7.5%. Dark brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. The aroma is certainly not christmassy enough for me - brown malts, dust, wet basement, a whiff of cocoa. The flavour is not bad, but fairly dull - dry brown and roast malts, cocoa and cold mild coffee, a hint of liquorice. Moderate hops.

Mørk brun med fingerhøyt beige skum. Maltig lukt, kakao, mørk sjokolade og noe nøtter. Middels fylde. Søt maltig smak, kakao, og noe karamell og stenfrukt.
