Pretty much a clear orange beer, bubbly off white head that fades quickly. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, modest cereal sweetness. Floral hops. Ripe tangerine - mandarin, modest cooling pine. Quite a dry finish. Okay. Reminds me of many many Camra beers.

Cask @ Woodman, Highgate. Clear golden with a small bubbly head. Has a very dry hoppiness but no real flavour to it. Thereโs some berry-fruit in its nose.

A sneaky pint off gravity at Hertford North station bar while I waited for my wife to pick me up. It looked good in the glass with lacing and a pleasing golden colour. The taste was all bitter hops and some malt, but weighted towards the hops. It was a spiky mouthfeel from all of the hops and it was easy to neck when she texted me to say she was waiting outside. This was very "English" in its bitterness and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I have a bottle at home and this deserves a re-rate. Bottle at home from Hertford North railway station bar. A good pour into the tankard with long lasting lacing. This was bitter English hops and some balancing maltiness that resulted in a puckering taste that left me refreshed. It slipped down a treat and is one that I would quite happily have again.
