A strong Belgian Quad 'dry-nibbed' with cacoa. This beer is pure decadence. The aroma brings a thick smoldering liquor oozing caramel, toffee, raisin, and roasted banana. Seeping the palate like double cream, bursting with vanilla, toffee, rum, banana, and milk chocolate. The finish is liquid toffee, branded raisins, dark chocolate, Guemsey cream.

Hazy deep amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, a touch of cream. Tangy caramel underneath, light marmite and molasses. Touch of red berries, modest orange peel comma a little prune. Tangy dark fruits on the smooth finish. Plenty going on but it doesn't really gel completely.

Bottle from the Brewery via eebria. Pours muddy brown with no head. Only the gentlest of carbonation visible. Aromas of dark stone fruit and vanilla. A sherryish hint. Taste is cherries, chocolate. Plums maybe. Sweet finish. Flat.

Bottle from brewwery via Eebria consumed at home Thursday 21st December 2017. Pours dark brown, a little murky and with little or no head. Malty, fruity (raisins and sultanas) and also nutty. The strength is surprisingly well hidden, toffee and caramel are driving this now with a nutty and banana thing going on. I like this and had the bottle to myself but it's achilles heel was thats it was as flat as a pancake and it certainly suffered as a result of this. A7 A3 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3
