Bottle. Unclear golden body with a medium sized, dense white head. Distinct aroma of both Kveik and smoke, mild fruit, hint of citric fruit, juniper and a little earthy. Flavor surprisingly refreshing with a mild but complex mix of fruit, smoke, forest, yeast and junipher. Low bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste in the same direction. Complex, tasty and mild, easy drinkable at the same time. Sure another very interesting and dared beer from Nøgne that taste just wonderful if open minded.

Ryddet kontoret og fant gamle notater fra ølsmaking - Nøgne ø sammen med @vighals mai 2018. Skriver rett fra notat: Gulbrun med hvitt skum. Lukter røkt. Røk i smak også, Medium pluss fylde, Mild avslutning.

Pours hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, smoke, cooked vegetable, forest, grain and juniper. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long malty, smoked and grainy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

330ml bottle, batch 1970, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. An one-finger thick snow white head slowly fading over a hazy golden body. Crocheted lacing. Aroma of grass and kveik, lightly smoked. Juniper flavours, some smoke on a backbone of kveik. Slightly tart malty ending. Nice partner to my pickled herring dish. (Tromsø 03.08.2018).
