Bottle, #1970, 2,5 months after bottling. Pours hazy yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is notes of juniper and fruity kveik with notes of apricots and citrus, wood and floral notes. Medium to full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is tart yeasty notes, with juniper, hay and wooden notes, as well as berries, citrus and light notes of stone fruits.

Kveldens tredje fatøl på Mi2 Cardinal mai-18: lett uklar lys gylden med kort skum. Einer og kveik gir et surt helhetsbilde som jeg ikke liker. Røyk og maltsødme i tillegg. Slank, lavt karbonert. Men det var visst bare jeg ikke likte den.

From bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 07.05.18. Translucent golden. Persistent off-white head. Aroma and taste of pale malt, smoked malt, Whiskey, juniper and English hops. Whiskey and hops are lingering on.

Gulbrun klar med høyt offwhite skum. Lukter gjær, korn, aprikos, skinke og noe granskudd. Middels+ i fylde. Smaker gjær, honning og noe smør. Lett bitterhet mot pinje og granskudd. Middels lang, noe oljete.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma of fruity "kveik" yeast, notes of ripe yellow fruits and grain, hints of juniper and smoke.The flavour has more distinct notes of juniper and smoke, a little fruitiness helps the drinkability.

Unclear stuff with a fine head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Pleasant carbonation level. Easy to drink. Nice complexity in this one. Mild smoked, yeast, herbal and forest stuff. I do not think it will gather dust Mr Fredvik. But it is surely not a beer for everyone either.

Bottle, at the brewery. An unclear, orange-colored beer with an off-white head of decent size. Rather kveik-ish aroma with a faint juniper note. Bread, some pale malts, orange and some yeast. It's full-bodied and quite dry, with more bitterness than sweetness, and flavors of bready pale malts, some orange and juniper and a yeasty hint. Lasting, dry kveik-flavored finish. A quite complex and refreshing beer indeed. Need to revisit this one later on. 180303

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy. Aroma is slightly dry floral, weeds, hay, yeast, boiled vegetables, old cellar, paper, juniper, minerals. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish floral, leafs, weeds, hay, yeast, grass, light malts, sawdust, juniper, fruit stones. Medium bitterness, slightly dry yeasty mouthfeel. Fair enough.
