A hazed amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a light sweet malt with red fruit notes. In mouth, a nice sweet malt with grassy notes, silky mouthfeel, light off notes, like homebrew. Bottle from Paris, bought in May 2011. Shared with GRM, Aug.17 2011.

Cloudy gold beer. Dry palate. Creamy malt, a little citrus peeping through. Dry minerally finish. Okay flavour but over dry.

bottle from Village de la bière Strasbourg-France. Hazy pale golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty, grainy with a dusty touch. I can’t specifically detect the seaweed, but the beer as an interesting character. After a while of tasting I imagine tasting some seaweed or salt in the finish.

Bottle from La Soif du Malt. Hazy golden amber color with quite an exuberant beige head. Spice and fruit aromas over malt. Medium minus body with mild carbonation. Spicey and fruity flavors. Touch of honey. Finishes with a mild, dryish bitterness. Best seaweed beer I’ve ever had.
