330ml can from Lidl in Lisbon, Portugal. Pours a crystal clear dark amber color with a small white head and fair retention. Almost no lacing. Light nutty aroma. The flavor is a mix of sweet caramel malt up front and a dry, light, nutty finish. Smooth and clean. Maybe not the best brown ale, but I like the flavor. Very repeatable. And the 6.6% ABV is very well hidden. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Not bitter.

Pues aquí tenemos una Argus Tostada, alias Ramblers Tostada, alias Aurum Tostada...en definitiva, la "tostada" de Font Salem.
Color ámbar, espuma blanca copiosa y estable. Aroma a caramelo con cierto toque de malta y hierba seca. En boca es ligera, algo acuosa, acaramelada, ligeramente herbal, final moderadamente amargo, fácil de beber. Aceptable

Can shared in hotel room in Alcuida, mallorca, picked up from lidl. A clear deep orange coloured pour with a a fine off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, some honey malts, biscuit, dusty grains, sweaty hop. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, toasted malts honey, toasted sugars, grass, some alcohol bite,. Palate is semi sweet, fizzy carbonation,. Not bad.

Desperado noruego cazando en las estanterías del Lidl (!) Almunecar: una 0,33 caja. Klar dyp gyllen med fint skum som varer. Nesten ingen aroma, og smaken er heller slapp. Men en rating er en rating, og vitamininnholdet virker som det skal. Delt med Kitty på hotellterrassen. Hun ser ikke særlig fornøyd ut akkurat nå.
