440 ml can, batch #28, Cardinal pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9.0%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate and coffee. The flavour is fairly dry, with distinct and rather sharp notes of roasted barley, strong coffee and dark bitter chocolate, hints of unsweetened liquorice. Also distinct bittering hops.

Shared can at Mi2 at Cardinal 29.01.18. Almost ebony. Pale brown head and lacing. Aroma and taste of leather, sweat and bloody stable boy, as well as oak and harsh pork rind, topped up by freshly brewed coffee to wake you up the next morning.

Draught at Bryggerfestivalen 2017. A rustic tint to a near-back body. Patchy beige layer, dotted spots on the glass. Nicely roasted malts on the nose, hints of black chocolate. Cocoa powder, ash, and coffee beans make up the taste profile. Roasted bitter ending, lingering. Fine bodied. Pleasant drink towards the end of the first day at the festival. (Trondheim 03.08.2017).
