pours a clear golden with a frothy white head and some lacing. aroma of hay, grains. flavour of cracker, white pepper, sour apple, some grassy bitterness towards the finish. too sour for the style, which might be a flaw -- will try it again later.

42nd Floor Tasting. Thanks to Fergus. Almost clear pale gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Light malts. Fruity tang. Floral things and a touch of paper. Light finish. Not bad but tasting like a ton of other German beers of course.

Bottle split at the 42nd floor Tasting, 08/10/15. Clear golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is straw, pale malt, bready, light yeast notes. Taste comprises pale malt, grassy bitterness, grain, vanilla, trace of paper. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough Helles.

Bottle thanks to Foiiiguss at the 42nd floor tasting. It pours clear gold with a small white head. The nose is toasty, straw, white bread and mild sweetness. The taste is crisp, clean, rather light, toasty grain, grass and straw with a dry, toasty finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. Not a whole lot to it, but it is well-rounded and drinks easy.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Fergus. Pours clear yellow with a slight, creamy white head. A little paper in the nose, cereal, dry hay. Light sweet flavor with more cereal and light bitter hay, white sugar. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly sweet on the finish, further cereal, paper, dried grains, lemon peel. Simple stuff, but not bad.

Bottle. Aldi. Clear, pale gold. Thin, lasting, white head. Mown grass hop. Sickly malts. Taste has a little sweetness, and just enough bitter. Soft fizz. Easy drinking, although it gets a bit overly sweet at the end.
