Bottle. Rather clear reddish body with a lacing off-white head. Aroma has some nice citric fruit with some malt, bread and hint of caramel. Flavor is medium sweet malt, citric fruity, hont of caramel and decent bitterness. Medium body and OK aftertaste. A tasty, refreshing beer with a good balance between malt and hops, but something seems to be missing for a higher score, might be a need for just a little bit more alcohol here. The potential is bigger than just a thirst quencher.

Flaske 500ml fra Gulating Tromsø. Mørkebrun. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. God aroma av malt & frukt. Smaken brent karamell. Tørr avslutning. Behagelig øl.

Bottle. A hazy one, dark brown in color and with a dense, finger-thick beige head leaving lacing. It’s rather hoppy on the nose, piney and resiny, with a touch of citrus zest. Caramel and bread too. It’s full-bodied and smooth on the palate, with lots of bitterness. Licorice hints, bread, orange zest, pine cones and grapefruit. And even more bitterness. Lasting finish with bitterness, citrus zest and some notes of bread and toffee. Quite delicious this one, love the bitterness level. Too many beers these days lack bitterness. 170310

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 17.01.17. Brown. Foamy, dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Fine, complex and well-balanced aroma and taste of American hops, citrus and medium dark malt. Refreshing, with good drinkability.

A nice light unclear nutty/amber color with a lovely tan head that last a long time. Nice lacing. Good intensity n he aroma. Fine body, and a nice balance between sweetness and bitterness. Average carbonation. Bready, toffee, hoppy and fruity. A really pleasant and tasty amber ipa lager. No rateeber style fit to this one.
