This beer is sold on cask as Cerne Abbas Blonde.
The intention was to brew a changing monthly blonde beer that is lighter than the ALE. With the variation every month on the hops only, this quickly evolved into a single hopped beer. We have now decided our favourite is Jester hop and we are sticking with it. Jester is a very new hop from the British hop breeding program.

500ml bottle as Bottle Blonde bought at Tuckers Maltings. Shared with Finn. Bright straw coloured body. Fragile lacing, dotted spots. Grass, hay and citrus on the nose. Taste of ripe lemon and bread. Dy bitter tail backed by citrus peels. Easy to drink and quite refreshing (Hotel room, Exeter 27.09.2016).

Bottle shared with the family, Streatham, London (cheers Colin) (26/08/2016) - pours golden with a white head. Aroma and taste is grassy and light floral hoppy, hay, straw, some light lemon citrus notes, bready pale malts, not bad, the old man actually really liked this :)

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Almost clear paleish gold beer, a few white bubbles. Palate is light, semi dry and crisp. Sweetish pale malts, trace of honey. Decent marmalade hops. Fresh orange peel provides a bitter dry finish. Decent.
