Flaske 330ml. Batch 27. Gave fra Yngwie. Thanks! Delt med Rune på Nerstranda 22 Jul 16. Mørk brun. Lett farget skum som varer. Lett karamellaroma. Smaken søt malt & knekk. Balansert. Blir litt monoton - og har vel mye kullsyre. Tørr avslutning.

Many thanks to Yngwie for a 330ml bottle, batch 27, of this one. Pours a huge off-white head resting over a cloudy dark brown body, Spotty lacework. Mild roasted aroma of caramel and coffee. Brown malty flavours added by berry fruits. Roasted bitterness towards the ending. Soft on the swallow. Decent Christmas feel in July (Shared with Finn at his place in Tromsø 22.07.2016).

Bottle. A clear, deep reddish brown beer topped by a dense, two-finger dark beige head leaving some sexy curtains in my glass. The aroma is dominated by toffee, with some wort and crystal malt notes in the back. Some dried figs as well. It’s full-bodied, soft and smooth, still with too much carbonation I think. Roasted malts and toffee followed by dried figs, some faint wort notes and dark bread. Not too bitter in any way, nor too sweet. Sort of dryish on the palate actually. Long roasted, toffee-ish finish with dried fruits and bread. Not bad at all, but as all or most Christmas beers at store strength, I think it lacks quite a bit to qualify as a real Christmas beer. Better stick to what’s available at Vinmonopolet. 151111

Dark brownish color with a big frothy tan head. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and little bit rich carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Mostly roasted malt and coffee in the flavor. Also a bit fruity edge. Ok easy drinkable porter.

330 ml bottle. Clear amber with a huge, creamy, long lasting tan head. A bit weak in aroma, malt, caramel, bread and spicy yeast. Flavor is medium sweet malt, slightly fruity, bread, hint of milk chocolate, slightly spicy with a faint hint of piny hops and moderate bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Feels a bit boring in the start, but there is something here. No problem to finish my bottle but glad I didn’t invest in the big family 2 liter bottle.
