Det er et øl med stor fylde og mye smak. Karakteren er fruktig, forbausende "varm" med et preg av solbær og sherry. Passer til kraftig mat og gjerne god dessert.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8%. Deep reddish brown colour, nearly black. Moderate beige head. Aroma of malts, caramel and brown bread. Medium sweet flavour of malts and plenty of caramel, hints of prunes, a little hop bitterness in the finish.

Bottle at home. Two year old. Pours a deep mahogany colour with a beige head. Aroma of raisins, wood, cold coffee and leather. Subtle chocolate. Malty flavour of leather, dates, chocolate and roasted coffee beans in the end. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, medium to full body and a light bitterness. A well-balanced bock. Malty with both sweet and roasted undertones. A little light on the nose and flavour.

330 ml bottle. Clear amber body with a small, dense off-white head. Aroma of rich malt, caramel and dry fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit, bread, moderate bitterness and hint of warming alcohol. Fine balanced body and long, sweet, malty aftertaste. A nice Christmas beer in the Bock tradition.
