Keg, shared with Finn at Beer Rebellion, Peckham Rye. Crocheted lacing from a low head. Dark ruby coloured body. Rich smell of cocoa and dark chocolate. Similar taste profile of cocoa powder and black malts. Smooth malty ending and easy to drink (Greater London 28.11.2015).

Fra keg på Beer Rebellion Peckham 28 Nov 15. Delt med Rune. Svart. Filmskum med litt farge. Tynn teppelacing med filigranser. Bra kaffearoma. Smaken lett kaffe & sjokolade. Tørr etter hvert.

Keg at Peckham Beer Rebellion- London. Pours deep brown with a dense, creamy tan head. The aroma holds milk chocolate, dark berries, toasted malts. Light to medium sweetlflavor acor with mellow dark fruit tang, some burnt rubber, earthy bitterness, charred wood. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finsihes with more tangy dark fruits, char, cocoa, scorched earth. Some nice elements but also some rough edges.

On tap at Ravensgate Arms Ramsgate. Roasty toasty chocolate porter. Touch of liquorice. Quite dry. Not quite my thing. Ok but too liquorice for me.

Keg at Beer Rebellion, GH. It pours pours dark brown with a tiny beige head. The nose is earthy roast, lots of coffee, burnt stuff, light spice and faint HP sauce. The taste is bitter, roast, cold brew coffee, earth, some acidity and charred wood, with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Fine, but not a game changer.
