Gravicask, half, shared with Finn. Deep, dark brown coloured body, shiny dark surface. Berries and fruits to the nose added by a roasted touch. Berries and dark fruity taste with bittering coffee malts to the aftertaste. Medium bodied. Quite alright (Redhill Beer Festival, 02.11.2012).

Cask at Wandsworth Beer Festival, March 2012. It pours deep ruby-brown, with a bubbly beige head. The nose is caramel, toffee, currant, fruit bun, milk chocolate and filter coffee. The taste is caramel, dark fruit (currant and fig), hint of tanginess, roast, chewy malt, cardboard and filter coffee, with a long, dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. The taste is a bit weak. So-so.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Amber-brown pour with a creamy, tan head. Bland nose, faint malts and roast. Some plastic in the flavor with smokey malts poking through, lightly sweet, not too bitter. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Semi-dry finish, messy malts, some obscure fruits and a bit of dough. Not too great.

Cask handpull at Thomas Ingoldsby JDW Canterbury. Deep brown ruby colour lasting beige head. A decent beer from Nelson. A dryish powdery stout with some dark fruit flavours. Aroma of dark choc. Bit of bonfire smoke in the mouth adds to a dry swallow. But there is a hint of juicy dark fruits there too. Pretty decent.
