Cask. Deep golden colour with some haze and a small white head. Aroms is sweet malts, some fruity and floral notes along with some slight nutty and wooden notes. Flavour is overall quite sweet, with some wood, malts, fruits and mild nectar to it. Also mild nutty and slightly toasted notes. Quite a good thirst quencher with a pleasant bitterness.

Cask at the Standard Bearer (JDW), Stevenage. A hazy amber with a thin white head that laces the glass nicely; doughy aroma with some tropical fruit; wheaty flavour with a touch of honey; and a clean finish with some light citrus, good hops, and perhaps a touch of spice. Refreshing.

Cask, 4.6%. Almost clear dark golden colour. The flavour starts off with a hint of plastic. Also fruity, a little citrus in the finish, mild lemon. Slightly astringent lemon.

Half pint, cask at JDWs Angel pub. Patchy white surface atop of a near-clear, golden body. Modest aroma of leafy hops. Malt-fruity taste with a satisfying bitter tail. Standard bitter (London, 20.03.2011).

Cask at the Lord Moon of the Mall, London. Pale golden colour, low head. Moderate aroma, a hint of fruit. Moderately hoppy flavour, some bitterness in the finish. Okay, but not very impressive.
