Bottle at home. Clear with amber color and light beige head. Sweet and malty aroma of caramel, breadcrumbs, wort, flowers and wood. A little ethyl acetate. Sweet is also the taste first with tones of sweet malt, biscuits and caramel, before more touches of grass, and finishes a little dry with pale malt and hay. Has a silky mouth feel, light to medium body and light bitterness. Sweet and malty aroma and taste. Reminds a little about scotch ale. Tasty for relatively low ABV beer, and a solid lager.

From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 20.04.15. Slightly hazy, pale orange. Diminishing beige head. Moderate aroma of crystal malt, with a slight hint of green apples. Fine taste, with good balance between malt and moderate hops. Filling mouthfeel.

On tap @ Kick. Unclear golden body with a medium sized, lacing of-white head. Aroma has a lot of fruit and freshly baked bread. Flavor is quite fruity as well with bread, yeast and some caramel malt with pleasant bitterness. Medium body and quite much bread in aftertaste as well. Interesting as a lager, does not remind me of any other lager at all. Have a slight suspicion that the previous beer at the tap line could have some influence on the flavor. Anyway not bad at all.

On tap at Kick. A hazy amber colored beer with a dense finger thick off-white head. It’s rather malty on the nose, bread, caramel and a faint roasted touch. Herbal, light resiny hops. It’s full bodied and softly carbonated, with bready malts, some caramel and a nice bitterness in the flavor. Lasting finish. Quite pleasant and easy drinkable, was a bit surprised over the maltyness, but it’s nice anyway. 140717
