Has that classic hazy amber look that is synonymous with American Pale Ale. Nose is moderate, standard grapefruit and wood stuff. This beer has always underwhelmed me out of the bottle, whereas on tap and cask I’ve been a big fan. Flavour is moderate bitterness, orangey notes, bits of whole wheat bread malts and a litlte phenolic note that I often find when cascades begin to oxidize a bit. As I said, in bottle this is a pretty ho-hum example, going straight down the middle of the style.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white creamy head. Fruitish hoppy aroma. Fruitish hoppy flavour with some spicy hints. Bitterish aftertaste along with hints of caramel. Dry finish.

Bottled, alc. 5.0%
Hazy golden color, small white head, some lace. Flowery Cascade hoppy, quite intensive for APA. Medium-bodied. More malty and sweet side in the flavor than hoppy. Some fruityness, finishing watery and sweet.

A hazy orange beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is slightly dusty, hoppy combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is dominated by caramel, with very light notes of hops on a thin body.

Bottled. Pale orange, hazy. Grapefruity and orangey. Light bodied, crisp and fairly dry. Clean and straightforwarrd with some crispy rye bread character. Pleasant finish with balanced bitterness. An outstandingly well balanced APA.

Sampled at the GA 14% gathering. Thanks to ?? for bringing this! Amber colored with a nice head. A well balanced aroma comes from this. Rather reserved as Pale Ales go, but this is a very drinkable, pleasurable brew.

Nice golden copper with a slighly unfiltered cloudy look. Not much head but determined lacing. Sharp hoppy and a bit of a bite right up front. Like the label says, somewhat floral. Seems well balanced and the finish has a bit of that hoppy tang. Bright and clean.

Medium amber with a nice head. Aroma is slightly citrusy, with nice hop notes. Taste is also citrusy and slightly hoppy. Good fizz in the mouth. A well-rounded brew.

Bottled. Light in color, with a thin head. I didn't find it to be as hoppy as the other reviews. Just a nice, clean smell and taste.

Re-rate from bottle. Light resiny west coast hop nose. Hazy dark amber, some residue, low golden lace. Great broad cascade flavors, covers the palate without getting too resinny. Medium bisquit and honey malt bottom. Sparkly mouthfeel. Pleasant leafy aftertaste. Moreish. I agree with old me in the rating :-) Old rating: 6 3 8 4 15 Amber, no head. Grassy and flowery hops in the taste. Smooth creamy mouthfeel.
