Pours a clear red colour with pink and amber hues. The white head has some pink to it, staying a while, but not much lace. Candy nose with the fruit (raspberry yes, but mostly cherry notes with the sugar sweetness of the yeast and light sourness). Does get cloudy at the last pour. The taste shows more of the raspberries with the tart and the sourness is stronger in the finish. A nice fruity, tarty, sour, sweet smelling brew.

Bottle thanks to Duffman! Pours a clear ruby with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong berry, wheat, dough. Thin mouth, berry, wheat, nice tartness, crisp, crushable, very nice.

Bottle: Poured a hazy bright pale red color Weisse with a small pink head with minimal retention. Aroma of fresh raspberry notes with some light tart notes is pretty refreshing and enticing. Taste is a nice mix of fresh raspberry notes with light residual sugar notes and a tart finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Solid beer with good refreshing notes and some complexity.

(On tap @ Bar Hop Brewco, Jan 6 2016) Pours hazy dark pink with a tiny white head and no lace. Aroma tart cran-raspberry juice and lemon lacto, light wheat grain. Flavour is lightish raspberry juice, fair amount of weak lemon juice, orange zest, concentration is a little weak. Finish is raspberry, a little seeds and raw wheat, yoghurt hints. Only light acidity. Light body, moderately high carb. Fruit forward but the base is kind of thin even for style and the whole product feels like it needs a bit more heft as a result.

Bouteille 750ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur rouge rubis translucide, mousse légèrement rosée, évanescente et qu’on ne reverra jamais. Arôme de framboise fraîche, céréales. Goût de framboise, acidité moyenne-faible, pépins de framboise, légère astringence. Carbonatation élevée, corps moyen-faible.

A reddish cherry red ale with a very thin white head. In aroma, sweet raspberry jam with light acidity, light mineral notes, light and smooth. In mouth, a tart raspberry jam with light acidity, light oily mouth feel, a bit light bodied, smooth lemony notes, OK. On tap at Brother’s Beer Bistro.
