Bottle from Gulating. Hazy deep golden to amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma has caramel malt, toast, marmalade, resin and some ripe fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, some caramel, toast, dry fruit, marmalade, some not very fresh citric fruit and moderate bitterness. Nice body and average aftertaste. Not bad but no Session IPA, more like a hoppy red ale or session amber. Feels a bit old in the hop flavors, but the best before date is fine.

330 ml bottle, batch L378, from Gulating ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Hazy brownish orange colour, large white (or slightly off-white) head. Very moderate aroma, hints of citrus and dust. The flavour is first yeasty and malty, followed by a sharp and medicinal hop bitterness. Not a favourite of mine.

Bottle at Gulating Pub Bod. The colour is hazy amber with a big light beige head. Aroma of elderflowers, herbs, heather, wood and wet basement. The flavour is strangley bitter with lots of grass, pine and dandelion. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and a medium to heavy bitterness. Unbalanced and this can't be right. Very bitter flavour.
