Beautiful and clear reddish brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma of caramel and over-ripe plums, hints of solvent. The flavour is moderately malty with some caramel, but not very sweet. Moderate hops. Not memorable.

Hazed dark golden pour and a big off white head Ok lacing Decent intensity in the aroma. Some yeast hanging in there Decent balanced sweetness and way to rich carbonation level Fizzy mouth feeling Caramel malty, herbal, mild bready, some yeast and mild fruity flavor Hmmm probably bottled to early. Could have been a decent dunkel [Bottle from Stian/Bobba50]

Bottle. It’s a clear golden to amber colored beer with a small off-white head. Malt-driven aroma with caramel, bread, some roasted malts and dried fruits, as well as hints of chocolate. Hay notes and grass in the back. It has a good bitterness in the mouth, with a malty sweetness, a faint sourish hint and flavors of caramel, bread crust, roasted malts and grass. Medium body and a nice carbonation level. Malty finish. Nothing special going on here, but it’s a fine dark lager anyway. 171020

330ml bottle bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Good looking in the glass with a deep copper coloured body, a stable, beige head leaving patchy lacing behind. Moderate smell of dark bread and dark berry-fruits. Slightly roasted malty flavours with earth and bread, hints of marmalade to the ending. A bit thin on the swallow. Decent stuff. (Tromsø 11.08.2018).

10.02.2017, 0,33l bottle sample @ Bergen International Whisky & Beer Festival:
Small bubbly-creamy shortlasting head, slightly dark golden color. Aroma is slightly sour-ish grassy, old hay, sour grass, weeds, grain, paper, bark, minerals. Taste is dry mineraly, weeds, paper, hay, sour grass, sawdust, cardboard. Medium bitterness, harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Meh!
