Can from Gulating. Unclear pale golden to straw yellow body with a small white head. Aroma has pale malt, grain and just a hint of citric hops and iron. Flavor is also mostly pale malt and grain and not much fruit or bitterness. It still feels quite refreshing in a pilsner kind of way but nothing like expected and not very exiting either. Medium to thin body and traces of iron in aftertaste. Wonder if the fresh hop flavor is gone as this is four month after tap date? I’s I shame when a beer don’t last this long.

Can. A hazy golden-orange colored beer with a decent finger-thick white head. Some rather fluffy curtains. The aroma has a bit more maltyness than I'm used with for this series of beer, but that's probably related to this one not being as fresh as I normally find them. Orange soda, lemon zest hints, a grassy note and a hint of pine cones. It's a bit fizzy on the palate I think, medium to full-bodied and rather dry. Decent bitterness, with orange, lemon and pine cones doing most of the flavor work. A light malty touch in the back too, and a medium length finish. A bit unfair to judge this compared to the other of this series, but as it's still nine months until the BB date I'm fine with it. Anyway, it's a pleasant, easy drinkable beer, but feels even more gentle than the other ones. 200725

Fiskåbanen 210819. Golden-yellow color with a white head. Aroma is malt, hop, yeast, pine. Flavor is citrus, malt, hop, yeast, pine, metallic, grain. Ordinary beer.

330ml can from EuroSpar Langnes. Dismissing, frothy white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Clear late straw coloured body, hazed last pour. Moderate smell of dusty hops with hints of lemon. Fresh, but subdued, taste of lemony hops, backed by pale malts. Oily fruity ending with discreet bitterness.
