Dark brown with a light brown head - Malt aroma with some fruity hops - Malt body with a good hop flavour that is slightly herbal pine bitter and there is some roasted malt hints in the back as well - The malt with hints of roast with a good hop flavour that has some pine with bitterness goes into the finish - This was good

440 ml can, as Hogna IDA India Dark Ale. ABV is 7.2%. Very dark brown to black colour, large to moderate beige head. Pleasant aroma of piney and citrussy hops, on a background of roast malts. The flavour is roasty, piney and quite bitter throughout, both from the bittering hops and the roast malts.

Fiskåbanen 200320. Dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, coffee. Flavor is pine, grapefruit, citrus, bread, caramel, fruit, roasted malt, cocoa, coffee, dark chocolate. Easy drinkable n ice beer.

0,44 boks fra helsekosten på Kvaddå, hjemme okt-19: mmm, liflige dufter stiger mot nesegrevet i samme øyeblikk som jeg spretter boksen - dette lover godt! Herlig aroma og fyldig smak med mørkbrent espresso, dessertsjokolader, engelsk toffee og furunål/granskudd. En meget vellykket kreasjon som forenet det beste fra to sentrale stilarter, stout og ipa. Lekker, furunålsaktig bitterhet i avslutningen. En fornøyelse fra første øyeblikk. Eksemplarisk utseende, slik jeg er blitt vant til fra Hogna.

Still alive, apparently. 150ml, 7.2 %, on tap at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. Coal black body, spotty lacing from a filmy layer. Malt-fruity aromas, dark fruits and dough. Blended taste of dark malts, spruce and ash. Woody. Balanced malt bitter end with a touch of pine needles. Mouth filling. Nice. (Tromsø 11.10.2019).
