Well stored bottle. Black body under a small beige head. Aroma of sweetish malt, dark chocolate and alcohol. Taste is very sweet, mainly dark chocolate and dark malt but also pure sugar with hint of vanilla and less boozy alcohol than expected. Drinkable and quite nice in smaller amounts but too much sweet liquor for my taste.

KØLF 2711320. Black color with a brown head. Aroma is cocoa, roasted malt. Flavor is cocoa, sugar, caramel, coffee, spices, maple, bourbon, vanilla, roasted malt, chocolat, toffee. Complex very nice beer.

Bottle. It’s a brown one, dark brown, with a small beige head. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, lots of dark sugar and toffee, with coffee hints and a hint of dark dried fruits. It’s full-bodied, warming and sweet on the palate, nicely carbonated, with lots of brown sugar in the flavor. Caramel, some dark chocolate and coffee, and a good dash of sweetness in the flavor. Lasting finish. Sure nice, think I prefer the regular Bhuthurt though. 201127

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 14%. Pitch black colour, large brown head. Aroma of bourbon, dust, vanilla, chocolate and oak. Very sweet flavour of molasses, caramel and maple syrup, also notes of vanilla and chocolate. Bourbon and cinnamon in the background. I can hardly detect the chili, the beer lacks hops. Too sweet for me, the cloying sweetness lacks a counterpoint.

330ml bottle bought at at Vinmonopolet Trondheim Bankkvartalet. Pours a remaining fawn-coloured head to a jet black body. Dotted spots on the glass. Appealing aromas of vanilla chocolate with bourbon, woody. Lightly spiced chocolate malts to the taste profile supported by coffee notes and vanilla bourbon towards a lingering ending, warming down the swallow. For sure, a great night cap on late on a Saturday night. (Hotel room, Trondheim 14.09.2019).
