330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken, at reduced price. ABV is 6%, IBU 22. Reddish brown colour, huge and coarse off-white head. Aroma of yeast, hints of caramel. Flavour of malts, caramel and brown bread, some yeast, not too sweet, hints of prunes, very moderate hops. Another evidence why Aja had to throw in the towel: the majority of their beers were too yeasty. They will not be missed.

Bottle. Amazingly good looking clear amber body with a perfect, dense, lacing beige head. Mild aroma of caramel malt, bread and hint of chocolate. Taste is moderate sweet malt, caramel, hint of chocolate, moderate bitterness and slightly metallic. Medium to thin bodied and slightly sour malty aftertaste.

330ml bottle, Lot 3519, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Patchy beige head over a near-clear mahogany coloured body, spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel and dark berries. Blended taste with impacts of dried fruits, berries and caramel. Slightly marmalade impression. Rounded brown malty end. Medium bodied. Pretty alright. (Tromsø 31.07.2019).
