440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord in Bodø, shared with Finn back home. A bubbly surface, dark brownish body, scattered lacing. Promising mid-sweet smell of dried fruits and caramel. Quite rich taste of raisin, bread, and forest joined by integrated kveik yeast. Rounded mid-sweet malt-fruity ending. Fine bodied. Pretty nice. (Tromsø 23.01.2021).

Spandert av Rune. Delt med ham i WCveien. Ultramørk amber. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Uklar. Aroma av lettrøkt malt. Smaken som aromaen. Karamell etter hvert. Pikant bitter avslutning.

Can. Unclear brown body under a moderate sized off-white head. Aroma has smooth malt, toffee, bread, dry fruit and fruity yeast. Taste is quite sweet without being too sweet, malt based with toffee, bread, dry fruit and the kveik flavor I find somewhere between fruity and herbal yeasty. Low bitterness, still very balanced all over IMO. Nice body and pleasent aftertaste. Very food friendly and personally I find this closer to a Brown Ale than Bock.

Can. A murky brown beer with a small off-white head soon diminished into a thin layer of bubbles. The aroma is quite malty, caramel, bread, dark dried fruits, alcohol and a light herbal, earthy touch. Quite pleasant, but a bit sharp on the palate, with a good bitterness and a suitable carbonation level. It's full-bodied, warming and on the sweet side, with a dried fruits kind of sweetness. No wonder, looking at the label it clearly states raisins and dates are used. Roasted bready malts, toffee, alcohol, nut hints and some earthy yeast notes too. Lasting finish which feels quite drier than the initial mouthfeel, and also leaves quite a lot of clementine and some clove. A bit on the boozy side this one, but pleasant indeed. 201208
