bottle. coffee, roasted malts, syrup, wood, booze, good bourbon notes, faint licorice. aroma pretty well orchestrated, quite complex and in good balance. doesn't come off as artificial or anything like that. flavor is quite sweet and probably not from the barrelling, vanilla like cake frosting like sweetness that doesn't fit in very well with the rest. coffee, lacto, roasted malts, whiskey, wood, sweet malts, buttery light caramel. could be a sipper if you're into very sweet boozy stuff.

Almost clear dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Butterscotch on the nose. Fairly smooth and light palate for the near 13%. Decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a good creamy sweetness, smooth sweetish cookies blends well with the light butterscotch. The bourbon is underneath but provides sufficient boozy muscle and spicy ripe fruits to balance the sweetness. Quite a light finish. Initially, thought this was going to be a bit sweet but it pans out nicely and is very drinkable for its abv.

Bottled. Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is butterscotch (kind of diacetylic) with some honey, alcohol, dried fruits and caramel. Flavour is following the same pattern, but has a quite strong chocolaty/cookie/biscuity sweetness to it. After the first wtf impression, it became somewhat drinkable and enjoyable.

Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour of red syrup. Bizarre sweetness. Gummi bears. Strawberry jam. Why?

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Many thanks to Finn for sharing. Prominent smell of toffee and chocolate. Similar taste of toffee and chocolate, together with biscuit pasty. Lightly roasted. long-lived ending, again toffee and chocolate. Nice slow sipper qualities, gets very sweet in the long run. (Tromsø 30.10.2021).

Delt med Rune på Nerstranda. Svart. Kjempesterk karamellaroma. Hint av lakris. Middels høyt lysebrunt skum. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken som aromaen. Lett eikepreg etter hvert. Mye brent karamell i avslutninga. Alkoholen bra kamuflert.

Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a dark brown with a red edge, head was tan. Aroma is sticky butterscotch, sweet, honey, caramel. Taste is butterscotch, toffee, caramel, malty, some alcohol, very bold. Leaves that cookies flavor around the palate.

Bottle at home, from Rad Beer, 24/04/21. Light black with a tan covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is caramel, sweet tones, butterscotch, chocolate, mellow barrel, trace of honeycomb. Taste comprises sweet malts, booze, brown sugars, light bourbon nip, moderate roast, molasses, caramel. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light balanced boost. Probably one of if not the weaker offerings from this series that I've tried but failing to join the milky diacetyl wank fest crew on this one. Sips ok.
