Pint can pours with a deep dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin ring of dark tan foam. The modest aroma offers up chocolate, dark berries and then sweet malts and vanilla. The taste comes across pretty smooth and integrated but it also has a pretty thin body. I get smooth berry infused chocolate that slowly turns into chocolate infused berries as the mild berry tartness slightly grows and becomes a bit juicy. It thins out into the finishing leaving me wondering what happened to the vanilla found in the aroma. Pretty good brew with little sense of the big ABV.

Pint can, pours opaque dark brown with dark tan head. Full bodied. Sweet chocolate and blackberry aroma. Milk chocolate, fruity lactose taste, hiding the booziness nicely. Lingering sweet finish.

On tap at Trail's End. Pours black, with a small, bubbly, brown head. The aroma is chocolate pudding, maple, a touch of berries, mild coffee, vanilla, and cinnamon. Very sweet and sugary, with a hint of fruity tartness, and no bitterness. Very heavy body, with a thick, creamy, and malty palate. This is a decadent and delicious stout.

A deep dark stout with a thin dark brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with blackberry, dark fruits, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of blackberry, raspberry jam, light coffee grind, light vanilla, very nice. On tap at brewery.
