Amber with lacy off white head. Hops aroma and medium body. Bitter taste but perhaps not ESB level, with a nice lingering finish.

A nice dark golden ale with a thin creamy off white head. In aroma, a nice biscuitty malt overlayed with British hops. In mouth, a nice ESB, with good biscuitty malts, a good dose of herbal British hops, very quaffable, herbaceous and piney. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, Oct. 10 2009.

Brilliant orange-brown colour. Aroma of fresh crystal malt, toast, demerara sugar, earthy hops, whiffs of cigar smoke and olive oil...shall I continue? Toasty palate, with breadcrust, light demerara, woody/mushroomy/earthy hops. Moderate bitterness. Very well balanced, just gorgeous stuff.
