Woah! You loved Betty, our NZ hopped collaboration with Wild Card, so we're back with Big Betty, a DIPA version brewed with the same great NZ hop blend, fermented with Kveik yeast.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth and fairly light palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts, a light and slightly thin creamy sweetness, pleasing nonetheless. Smooth hops, it's a NZ hop blend, but in typical CW fashion, you only need to know what hops are used when they decide you need to know. Smacks of full on arrogance to me. But what am I drinking. Well it's identifiably lime and tangerine with a little crisp pine. Some mild peel bitterness. Light finish. Good stuff despite the nonchalant arrogance.

440ml can. Sweetish, ripe juicy fruity, slightly yeasty and grapefruity with some zesty notes and citrus. Interesting, kveik notes are quite well hidden. Okay.

Can. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Murked up pale gold. CW swede. Nose has sweet orange. Ripe peach and apricot. Touch of sweaty and dank. Taste has a citrus fruit sweetness, and a decent oily bitterness. Smooth and full bodied. Stays away from sticky though. Fine carbonation. Juicy bitterness, and a little dryness to finish. Easy drinking for it’s lack of silliness.

Can at home, from CW online ... fuck you 2020 bier iii, 31/12/20. Murky orange with a decent off white cap that stays for the show. Nose is citric flesh, grass, light pine, melon, papaya, light floral notes. Taste comprises orange pith, raw pineapple, light yeast notes, grass, soft malts, light pine ripple. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow lightly grassy come juicy hop bitterness. Decent easy drinking DIPA with a mellow rising boost.
