Special for the Wetherspoons Autumn 2014 International Real Ale Festival.
Jayne and Danielle have travelled to Banks’s Brewery, in the West Midlands, to brew this beer especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. It uses ale, wheat and Vienna malts to provide the rich golden colour and light honey character, while the hop varieties provide melon and citrus aromas, leading to spice and apricot notes in the flavour.

Cask at the JDW Paradise Forum; clear amber pour with a frothy magnolia head, malt aroma, taste has light citrus, some dark fruit action and a hint of toffee sweetness creeping in.

Cask handpull at Folkestone Spoons. Clear brown amber. Lasting ivory head. Ok fruity hop. English element to it but the New Zealand hops are good. Decent hop.

Cask @ Stick or Twist, Leeds. Has a healthy clear golden colour with a creamy head. Has both malt an hop in its nose with tropical fruit notes the most dominant here and in its taste, but fairly balanced in the main. Good drinkable texture.
