Pours a dark purplepink , with a medium sized, medium low stability pink head. Scent is sharp, herbal berry, relatively low intensity ( but I always tend to think that with blueberry) . The basebeer can't really be found. Taste is full, super creamy - as always with arpus. Intense on the blueberry's, medium to medium low sourness, some sweetness by the fruits. Has a minor 'doughy' quality I can appreciate. Again a mild pinch of salt, it seems. Something I usually have in their sours (and only theirs) and I really appreciate, yet they don't ever add salts . Very drinkable. Lovely !

Bleu-violacé, pur jus concentré de myrtilles, col épais rosé retombant vite.
Arôme offre un nez plaisant fortement centré sur cette baie de myrtille avec un léger rétro-nasal herbacé rappelant les sous-bois, arbuste et buisson. Le côté 'sour impérial' est plus en retrait tant le fruit domine - un côté doux de vanille vient balancer tout cela sans pour autant être surfait.

Palais est en ligne avec l'intitulé, c'est à fond des les myrtilles tout en gardant une approche naturelle - ce côté aigre du fruit et du 'sour' de la bière est un peu diminué par l'ajout de vanille qui donne une certaine douceur de fin de bouche. Le tout est finement râpeux avec un fruité qui garde le dessus.

Canned 440ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Deep dark purple coloured, medium to big sized purpleish head, sour blueberry nose. Blueberry, light citrusy, fruity and light acidic taste with discreet touch of metal in the finish. Refreshing.

Can from Deconinck. Hazy red, thin, pinkish head. Aroma of blueberry juice, redcurrant, lemon acid, fruity yoghurt, vanilla. Taste has lots and lots of sour blueberry juice, some red berries, lemon acid profile with lactic notes, just some sweetish yoghurt, bread & vanilla underneath. Tart, fruity blueberry finish, lemony & lactic aspects in balance. No discernible alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Just very fruity & sour but balanced.

(can 0,5l) Overall: Too sour for me. Nice fruity/berry flavored. Aroma: Sour, later fruits/berries. Appearance: Cloudy dark pink. Quickly done pink-ish head. Taste: Medium sour, vinegar-like, light sweet, fruits/berries. Palate: Medium body. Light sour, dry finish.

44cl can. A hazy purple red beer with a pinkish head. Aroma of tart blueberries, yeast, grapes. Taste of strong tart red berries, blueberries, lactose.
