We love brewing big flavoursome Imperial Milkshake IPAs and this is no exception. We decided to reincarnate an old trendy beer style - the Black IPA! with our own Wander beyond twist. Dry hopped with El Dorado and brewed with strawberries, cacao nibs and vanilla. This beer is creamy, bold and lush.

Keg at Craft Beer Calling 2018. Black colour, beige foam head leaving lacing and milky chocolate fruity aroma. Taste is sweet, powdered chocolate, tangy dried dark fruity, vanilla with some roasty malt and strawberry fruit & marshmellow notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry chocolate boozy finish. Nicely drinkable

440ml can. Pours black with a big light tan head. Aroma of strawberry syrup, dark chocolate, vanilla. Taste of sweet dark chocolate and vanilla with a mountain of strawberry syrup, roast malts in the background, it's boozy but it works well, a bite of hoppy bitterness, pine, tempers the sweetness. Medium bodied, smooth, soft carbonation. Crazy how well this works.

Can shared at Craft Beer Co Islington, 29/08/2018. Many thanks! An opaque black coloured pour with a loose tan head. Aroma is Woody chestnut, raspberry ripple, vanilla, a little farmyard. Flavour is compopsed of semi sweet, vanilla, chcolate ice cream, neopoletan. Palate is medium full bodied, moderate carbaontion, oily, . Not bad. Lingering raspberry ripple. Not a fucking black ipa.

Can split at CBC Holborn, picked up online, 29/08/18. Light black with a well presented tan head. Nose is mellow roast, sweet malts, Neopolitan ice cream, chocolate dipped strawberries. Taste comprises sweet malts, light hop presence, wagon wheels, light roast, red berry fruits, chocolate cake. Medium plus body, fine carbonation semi drying close with a mellow boost. Drinks easy for the ABV ... CDA status very much based on brewers intent ... fun beer to try but ultimately doesn't live up to the £7 price tag.

Can shared in London / cheers to Cloin. Pours deep brown with a foamy beige head. Sweet, lots of rich dark malts, vanilla, light roast, dark berries. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Light alcohol warmth in the end, bittersweet chocolate, more dried dark fruits. Fun one.
