Clear. Light purple colour with thin head. Really strong aroma primarily of fresh blackcurrants but also a nice funky farmyard Brett note too. Clean taste at first. Then layers of sweet, sour, bitter berries and then oaky dryness to finish.

Sesongstart Mi2 på Cardinal, og vi er allerede på den fjerde fatølen: klar, mørk rubinrød med fint skum som varer. Rips, solbær, vanilje og en distinkt følelse av kirsebær, selv om det ikke er brukt. Frisk og lettdrikkelig med en deilig, bæraktig ettersmak.

On tap at Cardinal. Pours hazy ruby with small pinkish head. Aroma of wood, herbs, blackberries. Taste very sour with notes typical of red and black berries.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Deep red colour, small pink head. Aroma and flavour of redcurrants and blackcurrants, not very sweet nor very sour, with some spicy and herbal overtones.

Bottle at a WC tasting at Zil verne. Quite thin, feels a bit watery, med-high carbonation. Med-high sourness, light aetic, but also hints of butyric. Mostly a pleasant character though. Med-light funk, feels restrained in a beer like this. Moderate currant fruitiness is the center of the overall character. Finishes with a hint of acetone. Easy drinking, quite good.

750ml bottle. Hazy, reddish, brown-ish, purple colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, dirty, pink-ish, off-white head. Sweet-ish, fruity, oaky and mildly funky aroma, notes of red and dark berries, blue grapes, a touch of grape sugar, spicy hints of cinnamon, a touch of vanilla, whiffs of lactic acid, sauerkraut, sage. Taste is tart, fruity, mildly funky, dry woody, notes of redcurrant, blackcurrant, corresponding kernels, parings, fruit acid, whiffs of lactic acid, sauerkraut, sage, lemon peel, a dry, woody, oaky touch. Slightly creamy, watery and acid thinned texture, slightly dry, minimally astringent palate, medium, foamy, mildy prickly carbonation. Wonderful composition, superbly balanced, full of subtleties - excellent!

Bottle, 750 ml shared with Max, Miro and Tomislav. Hazy purple with medium pink head. Dark and red berries, some barrel, juicy, bit on the sweet side, medium to heavy sourness. Medium carbonation. Medium bodied.
