Our second collab with McColls had to be something to get the bells ringing, thus we bring you Quaddymodo, our second Quad. We've gone multi-layered with blackberry, blueberry & cherry forest fruits upfront, with complex hints of honey, toffee, smoke & liquorice in the finish from the Turbinado sugar, Molasses & Star Anise.

Can. Hazy amber brown beer, a good tan head, slightly pale. Airy palate, a little dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Airy malts, a trace of malt cream. The Forest Fruits certainly pack a pleasing berry punch, red and black berries of varying denominations. Star Anise was not over used and just brings a mild licorice like tang on the finish. A curious brew. A bit old double digit fruits beer is what it tastes like because, that punchy fruit kinda overwhelms any natural quad character. Some warmth on the finish. Entertaining and pretty quaffable.

Tap @Café Sara. Dark amber to brown body under a small beige head. Aroma is lighter and milder than expected, almost a bit weak with dark malt, dark fruit, bread, earthy wood and alcohol. Taste is sweet and malty with just hint of fruit, wood, spices and molasses. Medium body and short in aftertaste. A bit anonymous but still some kind of harmony.
