Canned 440ml. -Courtesy of hrabren, shared with him & Marko, thanks! Black coloured, medium sized brown head, peanut butter in the nose. Light roasted malt, peanut butter, chocolate, touch of wood and totally hidden alcohol with dry finish.

Can, huge thanks Hrabren and Višnja! H shared it with Ogi and me. Chocolate and peanut butter aroma, pretty simple, pretty efficient. Smooth, bit lean, dry taste, ending bitter, mainly peanut butter and light chocolate. Ending a bit roasty yet smooth in the finish. Quite nice in a way!

0.44 l can thanks to Višnja 666 who brought it from London, shared with Marko and Ogi. Unclear dark brown, medium beige head. Intense nutty, bready, toasty, chocolate, hints of peanut butter and burnt toast. Minimal to none vanilla presence. Light to medium body, toasty, burnt, soft liquorice. Smooth. Charred wood. Light finish, slightly sweet.

Keg tap at the brewery tap. Dark brown with a crescent of khaki head. Aroma dominated by coconut with sweet chocolate notes and a hint of salted caramel. Taste is sweet and warming with a surfeit of coconut, some almond and hazelnut and sweet dark chocolate. Full body with soft carbonation. This is special stuff.

Can that was part of my Beer Gonzo Advent Calendar box. Consumed at home Xmas Eve, Thursday 24th December 2020 listening to a lengthy Tom Misch mix on 6Music, we had a Kerala chicken curry for tea. Pours black with a light beige head, nose is peanutty and chocolate in the mouth more of the same, however I am picking up a lot of dusty hoppiness, slightly oily texture. I like Twisted Barrel but this is a little wide of my expectations and not really doing it for me.
