Can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Light malts but with a passable creamy sweetness. A nice juicy generic fruit vibe here, seems slightly Orchard fruits, so I am guessing that Calypso takes the lead. Unfortunately, proceedings are taken over by an aggressive bitterness that is also tangy. Pithy grapefruit and a slightly metallic twang. Dry finish. Nearly a good IPA but basic flaws as far as my tastes are concerned, which must be flawed of course. No chance this beer is hyped, no, none whatsoever...

More WC than I’d expect, some fruit up front, but quickly turns dank and hoppy

Can from RAD. Not really a NEIPA. Deep golden colour with a thick off white head. Aroma and taste pine and juicy citrus. Resinous. Smooth body.

Can at home from SMOD online. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting sticky white head. Aroma is sticky sweet, sticky resinous pine, orange rind, some caramel / toffee malts. Flavour is composed of rounded, caramel, biscuity base malts, sticky pine, bark, orange rind. Firm assertive bitterness. little grapefruit vibes. Palate is sticky, resinous, moderate carbonation. Good. This is a bang up DIPA , not a Hazy DIPA.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced via SMOD online care of Fergus. Pours almost clear orange-gold with a creamy, white head. Kind of a time machine DIPA, in that it's a bit old school, with a strong malt character, lots of oily pine, gooey citrus fruits, modest grassy bitterness. Medium to full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Moderate resinous pine to finish, restrained bitterness, more sturdy sun-kissed pale malts, nips of papaya, tangerine. Delicious.

Can at home, from SMOD direct thanks to Fergus for the hook up, 04/10/20. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent lasting off white head. Nose is bitter orange, grass, hint of countryside air, melon, light pine. Taste comprises bitter orange, chalky mineral bite, pine needle, spruce, melon, grapefruit zest, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close Decent easy drinking DIPA ... just a touch heavy on the minerality for my liking.

Can, picked up at the brewery. Also multiple pours at the brewery. Murked up, deep gold. Thin, lasting, leggy, white head. Nose has candied peel. Citrus fruit sorbet. Lemon infused ice cream. Tinned strawberry. Hint of oily herb. Definitely on the sweet end of the spectrum. Taste is similarly sweet, with a juicy, overripe citrus skin bitterness. Medium body. Slick and oily. Fine carbonation. Big stickiness on the lips. Finish is a little less sweet, with a herbal, oily bitterness to close. Despite the sweetness this is hugely drinkable.
