We were delighted with the feedback from our first two session sours our next release dials back the ingredients to one of our favourites, and first to meet our mixed-fermentation house culture back in 2018 Elderflower. As simple or as complex as you like, this is another smasher for hot days.

330ml bottle, 8 months past it's BBD. Pours hazy gold, white froth that simmers to form a rocky outcrop. Good floral elderflower nose. Taste presents nice fragrant elderflower with a soft sourness. Doesn't taste old at all. Decent.

Bottle at home, after roast pork belly, 22nd November 2020. Pours an orange colour, light haze. Aroma is tart fruit, elderflower for sure, apple. Taste is tart fruit, floral, loads of elderflower, sherbert, apple. Refreshing and taste, good stuff

7-3-7-4-15 Bottle, eight months before bbd. Pours slightly hazy yellow, with a short lived rocky head. Aroma is lactic acid and floral notes with elderflowers and pears, as well as citrus and tropical notes with stone fruits and minerals. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is lactic notes, with hay, fruity brett with apples, minerals and citrusy notes of lemon, as well as grass, floral notes and honey. Dry finish.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - murky yellow brown. White head. Nose - elderflower and grapefruit. Sour underlay. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied, long tangy finish. Overall - good.

Bottle. Pours muddy yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of elderflower and sour tang. Taste is tangy, elderflower, slightly chalky. Dry sour finish.

On tap at BrewDog Cambridge Hazy gold colour lasting white head. yes big elderflower yes some sourness. yes a little yoghurt. good elderflower good balance as ever with vault city probably the least impressive of their beers.
