American Brown Ale

Not everything has to be hoppy and hazy, right?

Made with a blend of six kilned malts to give a layered toasty biscuit flavour. To balance the rich malt character, this beer is then hopped with a fair amount of Mosaic in the whirlpool and a gentle Simcoe dry hop for a touch of pine bitterness.
Easy drinking yet full of flavour.

Can at home picked up from Trembling Madness, a hazed dirty brown coloured pour with a rocky beige head. Aroma is big singed pine, liquorice, nark, rye bread, smoked pine. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, semi sweet, big sticky pine, douglas fur, liquorice, woody bark, brown sugars. Palate is semi sweet, resinous, sticky, moderate carbonation. Yeah, big bold, well put together.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the Experiment. Pours deep brown, mostly clear, with a foamy tan head. Great beer, moderately sweet, with well toasted bread, a bit of pine, oranges. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Balanced finish, light warmth, more toasted whole grain bread, citrus fruits, soft piney bitterness, earthy accents. Solid.
