Packed full with hop flavours and a great balance of pale and crystal malts makes this beer our best seller. A great all round red/amber bitter.

Hand-pulled pint in The Kings Head, Norwich on 20 Apr 2013. Amber with a copper twist, the head beige and lasting. Malts ruled the nose and taste, not sweet but certainly not a dry hop bitter brew either. The malts gave the beer a fruity and biscuity feel. Mildly interesting and easy to drink. Nicely balanced and well put together.

Cask handpull at The Market Porter. Reddy chestnut, lasting thin ivory head. Muddy earthy bitter. Very earthy, does leave a dry aftertaste of mud. Some reddish fruit. Not very pleasant to me, but it’s fine, just not my thing.
