A light golden ale with a bold character. Ram is a modern twist on a traditional style of beer which is refreshing with a depth of flavour confounding its low 3.5% alcohol… just right for several pints.

Cask-conditioned at the Staple Hill Oak (JDW), S Gloucs 15/5/2024. Pale amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Biscuity malts, a touch of citrus fruits, marmalade sweetness and a moderately bitter finish. A lot going on for 3/4% ABV and good for it.

Cask @ Palmerston Arms, Peterborough. Dark golden with next to no head. It’s very mildly sticky-sweet and understated in this respect.
