Toøl 1 Ton of… Cherry Cherry sour 7.5% A reddish brown, kind of maroon color with a pinkish beige fuzz of foam. The aroma is vinous Cherry while the taste almost had oak barrel character. This is sour and tart in the finish with quite a bit of cherry flavor but virtually no sweetness. Interesting.

Bottle. Really assertive cherry character, along with moderate natural feeling tartness. Rather thin body, moderate carbonation, easy drinking. Cherry really definimg the game here. Very good even if not very beery.

Keg at CW Family & Friends, Session 2 @Manchester Central, 22/02/20. Lightly hazed reddish amber with a faded crimson cap. Nose is mellow cherry yoghurt, grass, light balsa wood, faint lemon rind. Taste comprises cherry stones, grass, dusty hay bale, balsa wood, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a restrained acidic bimble. Passable sour … not offensive but lacks any real depth.
