Gravity Cask at day 2 of the 41st Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 03/12/2025.
Golden copper topped with an off white head.
Nose is stewed fruit, grass, herb, grains.
Taste comprises bitter sweet citric notes, herb, sugars, grass.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with a light tang.
Passable sour ... a little too easy going and can't say I was picking up Irn-Bru notes.

Keg @ Old Toll Bar, Glasgow. Clear copper with a glow and a small head. Its iron brew influence is obvious as long as you already know the fizzy drink taste, and provides a sweetness to what is a low sourness beer within that style.

Can. Pours copper. Irn Bru, metallic, floral, little chalk, lemony tart, peach, little moldy grain. Medium body. A gimmick that is let down by a bad base beer.

Keg half-pint in The Boot Micropub, Wellington Shropshire on 25th August 2022. Smells like an Irn Brew, sweet banana dipped in caramel, the taste however is not like Irn Brew, it's more rusty and almost tart. Same colour as Irn Brew as well. My half-pint was enough, struggled to finish it to be honest.

Tap, half-pint shared with Finn at Exale Brewing. Bubbles on the surface of a clear amber body, fragile lacing. Mid-sour smell, and rather dry. Tart fruity taste offset by a sweet component of caramel. Tart, dry, and sweet finish. Soft on the swallow. Soft drink impression. So and so. (The Blackhorse Beer Mile, London 21.11.2021).
