Can thanks to Colin drunk at home (24/11/2022) - pours black with a tiny tan head. Dark malty with some notes of cocoa, caramel, slight sour edge though (might be old?/cant see a date) medium body, slight sour into the dark malty close. Think getting on abit. --- Beer merged from original tick of Legacy: Anglian on 26 Mar 2025 at 06:41 - Score: 6

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from the Trembling Madness online. Pours clear brown with a foamy, tan head. Not bad overall, lightly sweet, with mellow roast, some weak coffee, nips of dry cocoa, earth, toasted rubber, raisins. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Decent balance to the finish, more restrained roasted malt character, toasted sugars, soft earthy bitterness. Drinks fine.
